World Card Making Day BlogHop

Heute ist Weltkartenbasteltag! Ja, was für ein Wort... ABER schon seit Jahren eine tolle Aktion, wie ich finde! Ich werde wie viele andere in der Welt heute fleißig Karten basteln. Und so bin ich natürlich auch gerne dabei, wenn zu einem BlogHop mit Stampin´Up!-Demonstratoren aus der ganzen Welt eingeladen wird. Nur zu gerne liefern wir euch gerade an einem Tag wie heute Ideen und Inspiration für Karten. Eine Liste aller Teilnehmer/innen in diesem Blog findet ihr am Ende des Posts.

It´s World Card Making Day! This great event is been celebrated for years now and I think it´s great! I´m going to create as many cards as I can today! And because I like this event so much I´m happy to join in a blog hop to celebrate World Card Making Day along with Stampin´Up! demonstrators around the world! We want to show you some ideas and inspiration to get your day going. You´ll find a list of all participants at the end of this post!

Ich weiß, dass es für meine deutschen Leser mitten in der Nacht ist, wenn dieser Hop startet. Aber hey! Ihr könnt diesen Beitrag ja lesen, wenn ihr wach seid und hoffentlich auch in einen Tag voller Kreativität startet! :o) Und dieser BlogHop ist eben für Menschen in der ganzen Welt, um einen kreativen Tag zu verbringen! ;o)

For my german readers this post goes live in the middle of the night. But hey, they can read it when they get up, right? And this hop is for people around the world to enjoy a day full of creativity! 

Hier aber nun endlich meine Idee für euch! Ich nutze den Weltkartenbasteltag gerne, um auch einen weiteren Schwung Weihnachtskarten zu stempeln. Immerhin sind das Karten, die ich schon bald in größerer Menge brauche. Und so ist meine Idee auch Winter-Weihnachtlich.

Ok it´s time for my idea for you! I like to do some christmas cards on World Card Making Day. I´m going to need some more of those soon so it´s only appropriate. My idea for you is winter / christmas themed.

Ich habe für meine Karte mal wieder zu dem Stempelset "Flurry of wishes" gegriffen. Das Set ist schon letztes Jahr ein Renner für mich gewesen und ich freue mich riesig, dass es mit dem Hauptkatalog auch weiterhin erhältlich ist. Auch wenn wir einen wundervollen Herbst-Winter-Katalog haben, gibt es auch im Hauptkatalog noch viele tolle Stempelsets und Co.! Wiederhole ich mich? Egal! Ist ja so! ;o)

I used the stamp set "Flurry of wishes". I used this set last year a lot and I still love it! I´m really happy it´s still available in the annual catalogue. Even if I really love the new holiday catalogue we still have the awesome annual catalogue too. So don´t forget about this! ;o)

Die Farbkombi Bermudablau, Schiefergrau, Silber und Weiß gefällt mir supergut für so eine flockige Karte. Der Spruch ist übrigens aus dem Stempelset "Stitched with cheer" (Das gibt es auch auf deutsch, ich habe mich aber für die englische Variante entschieden).

I really like the color combo of Bermuda Bay, Smokey Slate, silver and white for a flurry card like this one. The saying is from the stamp set "Stitched with cheer". 

Nun hoffe ich, dass ich euch ein wenig inspirieren konnte und euch meine Idee gefällt. Und natürlich bin ich auch super gespannt auf die Ideen der anderen. Mal gucken, was ich dieses Jahr zum Weltkartenbasteltag so für Karten mache. Ich bin sicher, dass ich mir beim Hüpfen auch die eine oder andere Idee mitnehme. Auf jeden Fall werde ich euch meine Karten dann hier auch zeigen.
